March Music Trivia

The month of March is Music in our Schools month. So, for each day, we are going to tell the school a different music trivia fact on the morning announcements.

We have a list of music "quotes" that we used for announcements a few "Music in Our Schools Months" ago... maybe for future years!

Here's what I got..

1. TLC's Lisa "Lefteye" Lopez burned down her boyfriend's house
2. Technically, the minimum number of musicians to have a "big band" is ten.
3.The Star Spangled Banner was originally titled 'The Defense of Fort McHenry'
4. 'Billie Jean' by Michael Jackson was the first video to air on MTV by a black artist. Initially, the channel did not want to air any music by black artists.
