New Fundraising Ideas

Hello everyone. This is where you can comment and give your ideas for new fundraisers, hopefully ones that haven't been done recently.
Thanks.

Selling custom rubber bracelets is still a popular and profitable method to raise funds. Choose any color and put any phrase or message on them to fit your organization. Their low cost gives a lot of room for high profit margins.

I think we should hold a concert outside of school with the jazz band that we could charge an admission for. I think if we advertised the concert enough we would get a good turn out. I think the jazz band would get an especially good turn out since the music the jazz band plays appeals to a wider range of people. A possible location could be at the Norton Library Park.

I agree with Sam. We should hold some sort of concert, maybe not at the library park and somewhere indoors. But instead of charging admission we could ask for donations because we tend to make more money that way.

I know this might be a long shot, but I know a lot of organizations that have had a lot of success with auctions, maybe with entertainment (jazz band concert) followed by the auction with refreshments served.. I'm not sure if that is possibly since it might be expensive and we'd have to have prizes...

I think the auction/jazz band concert is a good idea. I was part of a group that did something like that, & we did make a lot of money. also, I looked at efundraising.com, but I'm not sure how much money we could make from their fundraisers.

Perhaps a coffee shop setup would work charge for admission and beverages then spotlightlight talent from various areas.

i dont know who said it but i think we should try selling stuff, such as those bracelets. I know that when teacher appreciation sells chocolate bars they go really quickly. people always love candy. I also agree that some kind of concert would be a good idea.

I think it would be really cool if we had a karaoke night. We could do like cheap prizes for contestants and we could maybe charge admission for people to come and watch.

if we sold anything, we have to make sure it is something NO ONE ever sold before, because selling things seems to be pretty hard to do for us. and we did just sell the t-shirts.

so a concert would be a good idea, if it was unique and something people would go to.
